What I Need From You

Race Video Requirements
- Start signal light at the beginning of the race must be visible
- Swimmer must be visible at all times during the race
- Recording must be taken from a higher position than the pool deck (minimum 3 m)
- Camera position should be relatively close to the middle of the pool
- 20–30 m area in a LCM pool
- 10–15 m area in a SCM pool
- Lowest accepted quality: 720p / 30 fps
- Preferred video quality: 1080p / 60 fps
- Camera must not be in wide-angle lens (0.5-0.9× zoom)
- No excessive zoom-in; at least 4 lanes must be visible at all times
Recommendations
- Set your phone camera to 1080p / 60 fps in the settings
- Turn on grid lines
- Keep the swimmer centered in the frame throughout the race
- Keep the camera stable
- Avoid sudden movements or shaking
