Founded in 2018, Training Lab has gone through several changes in both name and structure. Those changes came from experience, learning, and trying to understand what actually helps athletes improve. Since 2021, our main focus has been providing online coaching that is clear, practical, and built around real performance needs. Although we mainly work with swimmers, we have also worked with athletes from different sports, which helped us develop a broader understanding of training beyond a single discipline.

 

Our view of coaching goes far beyond simply writing a program and leaving the rest to the athlete. We believe coaching is an ongoing process that requires guidance, feedback, and constant adjustment. By combining swimming coaching knowledge, strength and conditioning training, and performance analysis, we aim to connect what happens in the gym with what happens in the water. Through strength testing, movement analysis, and swimming performance data, our goal is to identify what actually limits the athlete and build training around that specific need.

 

We know how important every season is. It is frustrating to train for months, put in serious effort, and then look back feeling like the progress was not enough. That feeling is something many athletes experience, and it is exactly why we care about direction as much as effort. From age-group swimmers to high-level athletes, master swimmers, triathletes, and even world-class performers we have analyzed, our goal stays the same.
